It was a chilly afternoon in San Diego so it was perfect for a hike near the beach.

This is the "before" picture featuring the world's most beloved picket fence and very thirsty grass.
We removed the picket fence, added a privacy fence, and replaced the dead grass with pavers.
We put in a stairwell to provide access to the patio from the living room. (The door will hopefully be installed this week since right now it is a stairway to nowhere:)
To complete the backyard, we found some great outdoor furniture on craigslist.
Debbie may be allergic to horses but that does not stop her from taking a ride around Costco on this friendly pony.
